Can you imagine this little gem is only 25 minutes away from Paris by train? The land of chantilly cream and chantilly lace! We started the day off by visiting the Chantilly castle and its gardens; it's a 30 minute walk from the train station but we were too lazy to walk so we took a cab to get there, ha. We were quite lucky with the weather; it wasn't too hot nor too cold, just perfect. Afterwords, we visited the stables where we watched the horse dressage and then made our way to the village. There wasn't much to do in the village, but it was a nice walk. We ended our day at Le Sylvie restaurant, where we had late lunch and tried their chantilly cream. I was too excited for the crêpe with chantilly cream and it did not disappoint. You can also taste chantilly cream at the castle!
