After weeks of wind, rain and hail (and just a bit of snow), it started feeling like spring in Paris and I couldn't be more excited. Still a bit cold, but oh-so-sunny! A couple of friends and I went for a walk around the first arrondissement to enjoy the sun for a bit and then visited the Musée de l'Orangerie. It's located in the west corner of the Tuileries Gardens near the Place de la Concorde and is home to 8 Water Lilies murals by Claude Monet (Les Nymphéas). The museum recently lifted its ban on photography after the french minister posted photos of paintings she took at the museum on Instagram, so I made sure to take my camera with me and share some photos with you on the blog! If you're coming to Paris soon, make sure to check-out this museum. Definitely worth the visit.
The museum is open from 9am to 6pm everyday except for Tuesdays. For more information, please visit www.musee-orangerie.fr
