Yesterday, I made the most of my long Easter weekend and visited the newly built Louis Vuitton Foundation for Creation with my sister. The view of the building emerging from the trees is purely and simply magical! The FLV was designed by Frank Gehry and is an outstanding example of “non-standard” architecture – it's composed of twelve glass sails which are all different and it will serve as an art museum and cultural center. I couldn't help but take so many pictures especially since the building is never the same when you look at it from different angles. Hope you all had a great Easter!
The FLV is open from 11am to 8pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 11am to 11pm on Fridays, and 10am to 8pm on Saturdays and Sundays (closed on Tuesdays). The entry is 14€. For more information, visit fondationlouisvuitton.fr

Ah spring, you've always been my favorite season... I couldn't believe it when I saw these flowers at the Jardin du Palais-Royal this weekend. After several weeks of rain, not only was the sun shining, but flowers started blooming everywhere in the city. I'm not sure what kind of flowers these are, but they are definitely the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. Plus, they smelled so good.
P.S. You might have noticed the new blog design... I loved the old one because it was simple and quite easy to navigate, but I felt like something was missing. I had been hesitating between a one-column and a two-column theme for as long as I can remember, so last week I finally decided to switch and I'm pretty happy with the outcome. What do you think? :)
