Last week, I spent my day at the Louvre. I wasn’t surprised to see it packed with tourists, especially on a Saturday afternoon, but I still managed to snap a couple of pictures along the way.
In other news, I’ll be attending the We Love Green festival this afternoon. It’s a two-day music festival in Paris held at Parc Bagatelle on the 31st of May and 1st of June. Anyone else going? I’m really looking forward to seeing London Grammar perform tonight. Sadly, I won’t be able to go on Sunday, and it’s a bummer to miss Foals and Lorde. Tickets for tomorrow are still available at the Fnac Store if you’re interested. For the full lineup and more info, check out the festival’s official website.

“It was one of those days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold; when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.”
— Charles Dickens
Ah, it's nice to see the sun back in Paris.
On Saturday, I went for a short walk at the Jardin du Luxembourg in between studying. I remember when my mom used to take me here to play when I was a kid. Definitely one of my favorite gardens. I also love watching people take naps here. Is that creepy?

With finals out the way, I thought it was about time to start my own blog. Hello! I’m Laura. I’m a french student, currently living in Paris. I’ve been meaning to start my blog earlier, but you know… School, projects, exams. More exams. Moving on. I decided to make a home for my photos and random thoughts; a visual diary of some sort. I’ll be sharing some of my favorite places and pictures from Paris, as well as other cities I get the chance to visit. You can follow along via bloglovin and/or instagram.
The pictures above were taken a couple of weeks ago at Ile Saint-Louis. It's been raining on and off for days, so I thought I'd share these pictures from a sunnier day in Paris. Hopefully, the rain won't last much longer and I will be able to enjoy my 3-day-break before my summer classes start. Happy Friday!
